Ready to eat food on offer includes barbequed sausages, delicious toasties made with Somerset cheddar cheese and handmade crepes. We also have local Arts & Crafts at this market from time to time as well as Fairtrade clothing. We have been running our weekly Farmers' Market at St. Mark's Church opposite the Oval station for the past four years. It has proved a very popular market, not least because there is nothing of its nature in the area or even many local shops for residents. It has a very social feel, with friends meeting at our designated outdoor cafe with Fairtrade tea and coffee on offer. It is also a very popular area for families and dog walkers. |
